Spark Rack has suspended all consumer access and visitations
It has been a crazy few weeks here at Spark Rack. With the spread of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), it’s no surprise that companies around the world have basically shut down all operations.
Spark Rack is no different. However rather than shutting down all operations. Spark Rack is operating on a limited support schedule. Customers still have access to our entire knowledgebase of solutions, as well as other vital tools. Here’s a list of things that we have changed or adjusted while we wait for this pandemic to pass.
- Co-Location Customers Not Allowed Access
If you have a computer, or a rack of them hosted at any of our data centers, your access to our centers has been temporarily prohibited to allow our staff to operate in the safest of environments. Contact your account representative to get your complimentary IP-KVM access to your systems so that you can control them remotely.
- New Customer Visitations & Consultations Cancelled
For the time being our account representatives are no longer visiting local businesses upon sign up. This is in an effort to protect you, as well as our staff. Account Representative visitations are only available to New Customers who live within 60 miles of a Spark Rack data center.
- All Scheduled Maintenance Suspended.
While scheduled maintenance is important, we understand a lot of our eCommerce customers are using this time to see their products and services online more now than ever. As such we want to ensure your site stays online for them. During this time, we have temporarily suspended all major maintenance projects and are just working to ensure systems are running smoothly.
- Adjusted Customer Care Hours of Operations
As most of our agents work from home anyway, Spark Rack has adjusted it’s hours of operation temporarily for our Customer Care Center, both telephone and online. The schedule is below, this applies to phone, email, and ticket support.
- Monday-Friday: 9am – 5pm EST
- Saturday & Sunday: CLOSED
We understand these times are trying, however your customer service representatives will still be available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Myself included, as I handle about 300 customers myself.
