More DNS Redundancy on the horizon

We’re in the process now of putting more DNS Servers online to ensure we keep uptime at 100% for our customers, and their visitors. We’ll be adding 2 additional DNS servers in the northern suburbs of Syracuse, but we’ll also be adding some north of Syracuse towards Watertown.

Commonly in the summer months in the areas surrounding Syracuse and Watertown where our main data center is located sees unusually strong thunder and electrical storms. So we want to be prepared in the event of a power outage.

This fall we’ll also be setting up more server redundancy for customer servers, and customer email systems. We’ll post more information when it becomes available.
